Welcome to the website of Rainham Mark Education Trust (RMET).

We are a family of schools in Rainham, Kent consisting of one Grammar and two primary academies. 

Our core purpose is to cultivate wisdom, character and strength in our students so they can understand, celebrate and shape the world in which they live. 

We believe education is “the wise, hopeful and respectful cultivation of learning and change”, and that it should be accessible to every young person, regardless of background.

As Interim Chief Executive, I feel honoured to lead a Trust at such an exciting time.  Building on the success of Rainham Mark Grammar School and our two primary schools, Riverside and Twydall (all currently rated “Good” by Ofsted), we continue to raise the bar and maximise opportunity for every child.

Together, we build communities through ambition, aspiration, and inclusion — shaping not only exam results, but the character and contributions of each young person.
